smiley We are looking for 3 Speech and Language Therapists to join our team!

We have two clinical lead roles available, one for the primary school service and another for the secondary school and college service. These two posts have resulted from expansion of our services. The Clinical Leads will be autonomous practitioners, taking a lead in developing and providing a high quality speech and language therapy service to students with SLCN attending education settings across West London. The postholders will manage their own clinical caseload (3 days) and will be expected to work collaboratively with children, parents/carers, and colleagues in Education, in the planning and delivery of services to the schools.

The post holders will provide clinical education and training to speech and language therapy students and provide clinical supervision and support, as well as line management, to SLTs and SLTAs within the practice. They will be the key point of contact for Local Authorities and Schools wishing to commission EHCP assessments for primary aged children, and will manage this part of the service. The post holders will lead any clinical audit or projects in relation to developing the schools services and will lead in the collection of outcome measures. The postholders will provide regular feedback to directors, and will contribute to team meetings.

We also have a fantastic opportunity for a speech and language therapist, B6-7, to work in our clinic in West London. This is a part-time (3 days) clinic, or full time (mixed post including clinic and schools), permanent position, with the option of term-time only working.

West London Speech and Language Therapy was set up in 2013 by two therapists with nearly 40 years of combined experience, including 30 years in NHS posts. The team is commissioned to provide services into education settings across a number of boroughs in West London, as well as to support individual families at home and in our clinic in Shepherd’s Bush. West London Speech and Language Therapy is dedicated to providing high quality services to all children, families and schools we work with.
