Our school has commissioned Suzanne and her Speech and Language Therapy service since November 2015. We have found Suzanne to always be prompt, reliable and trustworthy with sensitive information. Suzanne is knowledgeable and professional in her approach to the needs of children in our care. She listens carefully to each case and advises accordingly. Suzanne replies to emails promptly and will adapt her sessions or visits if we need her to.

She has demonstrated therapy sessions to develop staff skills in order to carry out therapy sessions with children during the week. She gives teachers clear and practical ideas on how to support children with needs in their class. Suzanne has met with Parents and advised on helping their children at home, and understanding their needs. She also has advised on resources and equipment we may need, and suggestions for where our budget may be spent in the future.

Suzanne will make a valuable asset to Speech and Language provision in a school.

We feel our setting has benefited from the commissioning of Ms Da Silva’s SaLT services in many ways. It is a very flexible and adaptive service designed to meet our particular needs and demands. Ms Da Silva has been able to tailor training packages to meet our requirements at times and dates of our convenience. She has used her extensive experience to share strategies and resources that she thinks will benefit our children. Some of these training sessions have been during lunch times and others have been during INSET days.  We have also used the services to assess children and to then develop programmes of support.

We are very much moving towards more holistic upskilling of our setting and Ms Da Silva has helped to induct new staff to key SaLT strategies and supported language enrichment activities especially in our EYFS. Ms Da Silva is also working closely with our Phase Leaders to identify and meet different needs. She will also support some parent workshops. We do feel that a key advantage of this service is that it is less rigid than previous SaLT provision.

Very flexible service and responsive to the child's need. I can honestly say Suzanne has the best interests of the child at heart.

Head Teacher/Senco

Ability, resources, training and knowledge provided by specialist speech therapist from west London partnership has helped my child make huge progress in his development and a rapid pace.

Cannot fault the service we had. It was seamless and life changing.

Therapy was punctual, to the point, enjoyable for my daughter. Aoife was very friendly and extremely helpful with all questions and concerns.

Very helpful and reassuring.

We've taken our son to Babblebugs since he was two months old and we have all loved the experience. For us learning the techniques and songs has been very helpful developing his communication - he's begun using words right on track and is very engaged. He always has a great time with the songs, toys and most especially the shakers!

First time parents

Babblebugs - great fun for our twins for the past 2 years since they were 1. Singing, dancing and learning as they go - a great class run by passionate and fun people.

Simply cannot rate Babblebugs classes more highly. Our twins love attending and have been incredibly early talkers. My husband is convinced that Babblebugs sessions have been instrumental in kick starting their language!
