Marjolein (Mar) graduated as a Speech & Language Therapist from City University, London. Mar has worked across a range of settings including primary and secondary schools, additionally resourced provisions, and in a specialist ASD school.

Mar has experience with a variety of therapeutic interventions, and in training teachers and teaching assistants on Speech Language and Communication Needs, and ensures work is appropriately differentiated for children in the classroom. She works closely with families and other professionals to meet each child/young person’s specific need(s) ensuring evidenced based practice.

Mar’s specialist interests include developmental language disorder, social communication difficulties (including Autism), and working with teenagers.

Mar is bilingual, speaking English & Dutch. In her spare time, Mar enjoys yoga, swimming, running and spending time with her two boys (aged 10 & 15) & husband and friends.
