Sophie graduated from University College of London. Sophie has worked across the paediatric age range, however, her predominant experience has been in secondary and post-16 mainstream and specialist settings.

Sophie is keen to promote that the adolescent years are a critical time for social emotional, language and learning development. The identification and timely support of speech, language and communication needs in this age group make a significant impact on a young person’s life outcomes.

Sophie is experienced in putting young people’s voices at the centre of their speech and language therapy. She works collaboratively with their families, education and professional support network to provide holistic and meaningful input.

Sophie has a golden retriever called Samson who works as a Therapy Dog in a local college.
