During her Master’s training, she gained experience working with children in both mainstream and special school settings, supporting a range of speech and language needs and social communication differences. She has also worked within an integrated team, supporting adults with aphasia and cognitive communication difficulties.

Through her clinical experiences, Shnyia recognises the close connection between communication, confidence, and independence, using this understanding to shape person-centred goals that build on individual strengths and needs. She has a particular interest in early intervention and play-based therapy, gestalt language processing, and supporting autistic children.

Shnyia is passionate about creating an engaging and nurturing space where young people feel empowered in their communication and supported in their learning. She brings a reflective and compassionate approach to her work, alongside evidence-based therapy and a neurodiversity-affirming lens.
