Amelia qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from the University of Reading. Amelia joined the team in September 2021 and has worked in a range of settings including schools, colleges, clinic and special schools. Amelia’s areas of interest include supporting children and young people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), complex needs and implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Amelia is passionate about delivering meaningful, functional therapy and working with families and school staff while keeping children/young people at the centre. Amelia uses a holistic approach focusing on the environment, children/young people’s strengths and empowering families and schools to provide children and young people with the best support to help them achieve their goals and aspirations for the future.
