Caroline qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from City, University of London in 2023. As part of her MSc, she gained clinical experience working with pre-school and school-age children, adults with aphasia, and school-age children who stammer. Caroline completed her main MSc clinical training at the Michael Palin Centre. Since qualifying, Caroline has specialised in stammering across both children and adults, gaining extensive experience in individualised, evidence-based assessment and therapy. She has undertaken further training in a range of areas, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and stammering, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and stammering, Palin PCI, cluttering, and counselling skills in Speech and Language Therapy.
Caroline is also experienced in working with early years children in both primary school and clinic settings. She has worked with a varied client base, supporting children with diagnoses of ASD and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). Caroline’s therapeutic approach is client-led and holistic, considering all facets of the individual’s life and their family. She believes that focusing on strengths and building supportive environments around clients enables the most meaningful and long-term progress from therapy.
