Ciara qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from the University of Limerick in 2017. As part of her M.Sc. she gained a wide range of clinical experience working with pre-school and school age children, children with complex needs and adults with dysarthria, aphasia and other communication difficulties. Ciara has previously worked as part of a multidisciplinary team in the early intervention team and school age team. Ciara also has experience working with teenagers in Moor House College (a specialist school for children between 7 and 19 years with speech and/or language disorders). Further experience includes working with children and adults with varying diagnoses and needs such as Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Autism and apraxia. Ciara believes that therapy should be a positive and fun experience for all.
