Tara Farrell

Tara is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from the University of Galway, Ireland, with a BSc in Occupational Therapy in 2023. Following graduation she worked in Ireland, supporting adults with a variety of complex intellectual, physical and sensory needs.

In 2026 Tara joined the West London Speech and Language Therapy Team, where she enjoys supporting children across primary and secondary school settings. She is particularly interested in autism, sensory processing and regulation, and is passionate about neuroaffirmative practices.

Tara takes a strengths based approach to her work, recognising each child’s individual abilities, interests and needs. She is passionate about supporting children and young people to develop greater independence, confidence, and participation in their everyday activities and learning. She works collaboratively with children, families and school staff to develop practical, meaningful strategies that can be embedded into the child’s daily routines and school environment.

Tara is supported to creating supportive environments where children feel understood, valued, and are empowered to participate and thrive.
